Ingredients

  • Firm Tofu - 250 grams
  • Bell Pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 150 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Snow Peas - 100 grams
  • Soy Sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Green Onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
  6. Return the tofu to the skillet and add soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
