Ingredients
- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Pineapple rings - 2 rings (approximately 150 grams)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large leaves
- Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Erythritol (or other keto-friendly sweetener) - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix well and form into two equal-sized patties.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and erythritol to create the teriyaki glaze.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, brush the teriyaki glaze over the burger patties and place a pineapple ring on top of each patty, allowing it to caramelize slightly.
- Remove the burgers from the skillet and let them rest for a minute. To assemble, place each burger on a large lettuce leaf, topping with the grilled pineapple and any additional toppings of your choice.
