Ingredients

  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Onion - 1 small, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 60 ml
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
  • Green onions - 2, sliced, for garnish

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create the teriyaki sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced chicken to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-frying for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
