- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 60 ml
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
- Green onions - 2, sliced, for garnish
Steps
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create the teriyaki sauce. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-frying for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring well to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
