- green bell pepper - 1, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
- red onion - 1, cut into wedges
- soy sauce - 60 ml
- honey - 30 grams
- rice vinegar - 15 ml
- ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- garlic - 1 clove, minced
- sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- black pepper - to taste
- wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- sesame seeds - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the teriyaki marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, preferably up to 1 hour.
- While the beef marinates, prepare your vegetables by cutting them into 2.5 cm pieces.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Once the beef has marinated, thread the beef, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between the beef and vegetables.
- Place the skewers on the hot grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
