- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Slider buns - 4 pieces
- Lettuce leaves - 4 pieces
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Mayo - 2 tablespoons
- Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, tandoori masala, garlic paste, ginger paste, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat (about 200°C/400°F).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
- Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into smaller pieces suitable for sliders.
- While the chicken is resting, prepare the slider buns by lightly toasting them on the grill or in a pan.
- Spread mayo on the bottom half of each slider bun and layer with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and cucumbers.
- Place the sliced tandoori chicken on top of the veggies and drizzle with chili sauce if desired.
- Cover with the top half of the slider bun and serve immediately.
