  • Chicken thighs (boneless, skinless) - 300 grams
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 4
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Red onion (sliced) - 1/2 medium
  • Cucumber (sliced) - 1/2 medium
  • Cilantro (fresh, chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, tandoori masala, minced garlic, grated ginger, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75°C.
  5. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a piece of grilled chicken on the bottom half of each bun, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, cucumber, and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro.
  7. Spread additional yogurt sauce on the top half of the bun, then place it on top to complete the burger.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
