- Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
- Black beans - 100 grams, drained and rinsed
- Cooked chicken breast - 100 grams, shredded
- Low-fat shredded cheese - 100 grams
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Corn kernels - 50 grams (fresh or frozen)
- Avocado - 1 medium, diced
- Lettuce - 50 grams, shredded
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Taco seasoning - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with taco seasoning and olive oil until well coated.
- Spread black beans evenly over the pizza dough, followed by the seasoned chicken.
- Sprinkle the low-fat shredded cheese over the top, then add cherry tomatoes, red onion, and corn.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
- Top the pizza with diced avocado, shredded lettuce, and fresh cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the pizza.
