Ingredients
- Chicken Wings - 500 grams
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Erythritol (or preferred keto sweetener) - 2 tablespoons
- Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Hot Sauce - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spread out in a single layer.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they are crispy and golden brown.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the glaze by combining erythritol, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir the mixture until the erythritol has dissolved and the sauce is heated through, about 5 minutes.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the sweet and spicy glaze until well coated.
- Return the glazed wings to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to set the glaze.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
