  • Pork ribs - 500 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Erythritol (or preferred low-carb sweetener) - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Hot sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Liquid smoke - 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and erythritol.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. In another bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, liquid smoke, and mustard to create a marinade.
  5. Place the ribs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well covered.
  6. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
  7. Bake for 2 hours until the ribs are tender.
  8. Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F).
  9. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with the leftover marinade halfway through, until the ribs are caramelized and slightly crispy.
  10. Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
