- Erythritol (or preferred low-carb sweetener) - 2 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Hot sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Liquid smoke - 1 teaspoon
- Mustard - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and erythritol.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- In another bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, liquid smoke, and mustard to create a marinade.
- Place the ribs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well covered.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 2 hours until the ribs are tender.
- Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F).
- Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with the leftover marinade halfway through, until the ribs are caramelized and slightly crispy.
- Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
