Ingredients
- Jumbo pasta shells - 8 pieces
- Ricotta cheese - 200 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Egg - 1 large
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Marinara sauce - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese mixture and place them in the baking dish, open side up.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Drizzle with olive oil and cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
