Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells - 8 pieces
  • Ricotta cheese - 200 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Marinara sauce - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese mixture and place them in the baking dish, open side up.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
