- Beef sirloin - 250 grams
- Mixed salad greens (arugula, spinach, romaine) - 100 grams
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
- Cucumber - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and lemon juice to create the vinaigrette.
- Slice the beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips and marinate in half of the vinaigrette for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef strips for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the salad by combining mixed salad greens, sliced cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a large bowl.
- Add the cooked steak on top of the salad and sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese.
