Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 250 grams
  • Mixed salad greens (arugula, spinach, romaine) - 100 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and lemon juice to create the vinaigrette.
  2. Slice the beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips and marinate in half of the vinaigrette for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef strips for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.
  4. While the beef is cooking, prepare the salad by combining mixed salad greens, sliced cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a large bowl.
  5. Add the cooked steak on top of the salad and sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese.
  6. Drizzle the remaining vinaigrette over the salad, toss gently, and serve immediately.
