Ingredients

  • Pork spare ribs - 1 kg
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1 tsp
  • Paprika - 1 tsp
  • Garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • Onion powder - 1 tsp
  • Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp
  • Barbecue sauce - 200 ml

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover them tightly with another layer of foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
  7. After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil.
  8. Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce and return them to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice between the bones and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
