- Pork spare ribs - 1 kg
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Black pepper - 1 tsp
- Paprika - 1 tsp
- Garlic powder - 1 tsp
- Onion powder - 1 tsp
- Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp
- Barbecue sauce - 200 ml
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring even coverage.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover them tightly with another layer of foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
- After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil.
- Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce and return them to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice between the bones and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
