Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 400 grams
  • Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Sliced tomatoes - 1 medium
  • Sliced avocado - 1 medium
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, Sriracha sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, egg, and almond flour.
  2. Mix until well combined and form the mixture into 2 equal patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are cooked through and have an internal temperature of 75°C.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing the romaine leaves and patting them dry.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a romaine leaf, topped with sliced tomatoes, avocado, and fresh cilantro.
