Ingredients

  • salmon fillet - 250 grams
  • sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • gluten-free breadcrumbs - 1/4 cup
  • egg - 1 large
  • green onion - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • avocado - 1/2, sliced
  • lettuce leaves - 2
  • lime - 1, juiced
  • mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the salmon fillet, sriracha sauce, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into two equal patties.
  4. Brush the grill or pan with olive oil and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the lime aioli by mixing mayonnaise and lime juice in a small bowl.
  6. Once the salmon patties are done, toast the gluten-free burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  7. Assemble the burgers by spreading lime aioli on the bottom half of each bun, adding lettuce, the salmon patty, and avocado slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
