- salmon fillet - 250 grams
- sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
- gluten-free breadcrumbs - 1/4 cup
- egg - 1 large
- green onion - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- garlic - 1 clove, minced
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- gluten-free burger buns - 2
- avocado - 1/2, sliced
- lettuce leaves - 2
- lime - 1, juiced
- mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine the salmon fillet, sriracha sauce, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Brush the grill or pan with olive oil and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the lime aioli by mixing mayonnaise and lime juice in a small bowl.
- Once the salmon patties are done, toast the gluten-free burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading lime aioli on the bottom half of each bun, adding lettuce, the salmon patty, and avocado slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
