Ingredients

  • canned chickpeas - 1 can (400g)
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the dried chickpeas, olive oil, Sriracha sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
