- Ground chicken - 400 grams
- Sriracha sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2 units
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cheddar cheese - 2 slices (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, Sriracha sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- If using, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the burger buns in the same skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, adding the cooked chicken patty, followed by sliced avocado and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with extra Sriracha sauce on the side if desired.
