Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 400 grams
  • Sriracha sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2 units
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cheddar cheese - 2 slices (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, Sriracha sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  4. If using, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  5. Toast the burger buns in the same skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, adding the cooked chicken patty, followed by sliced avocado and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately with extra Sriracha sauce on the side if desired.
