- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Egg - 1 large
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, cooked spinach, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and the egg. Mix well until fully combined.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the ricotta and spinach mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the spinach mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
