  • Firm Tofu - 200 grams
  • Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Smoked Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Corn Tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Red Cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Fresh Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges
  • Salsa - 100 grams

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the tofu cubes in the mixture until well coated.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned tofu. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While the tofu is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the spicy tofu in each tortilla. Top with shredded red cabbage, avocado slices, fresh cilantro, and a spoonful of salsa.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
