- fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- cumin - 1 teaspoon
- paprika - 1 teaspoon
- salt - 1 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- hamburger buns - 2
- lettuce leaves - 2
- tomato - 1, sliced
- red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- yogurt or tzatziki sauce - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, grated ginger, cayenne pepper, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2.5 cm thick.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Once hot, place the lamb patties in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C.
