- ground elk meat - 500 grams
- pork fat (or bacon) - 100 grams, finely chopped
- garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- water - 30 ml
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground elk meat and chopped pork fat.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, black pepper, sea salt, fresh parsley, and water to the meat mixture.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly by hand or using a spoon until evenly combined.
- Shape the mixture into small sausage links or patties, about 5 centimeters long.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the sausages to the pan.
- Cook the sausages for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
