Ingredients
- Pork chops - 2 (approximately 200g each)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar-free BBQ sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to create a spice rub.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the pork chops are cooking, in a separate bowl, combine the sugar-free BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to create the BBQ glaze.
- Once the pork chops are cooked, brush the BBQ glaze generously over them and let them cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet, let them rest for a few minutes, then serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
