- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar-free BBQ sauce - 100 grams
- Hot sauce (optional) - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sugar-free BBQ sauce and hot sauce (if using) and stir until warmed through.
- Brush the BBQ sauce mixture over the meatballs, reserving some sauce for serving.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
