- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar-free BBQ sauce - 100 grams
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to create a spice rub.
- Coat the chicken thighs with the spice rub evenly.
- Place the chicken thighs on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
- During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the sugar-free BBQ sauce onto the chicken thighs.
