- sourdough starter - 120 grams
- all-purpose flour - 100 grams
- milk - 150 ml
- egg - 1 large
- sugar - 15 grams
- baking powder - 5 grams
- salt - 2 grams
- unsalted butter - 30 grams (melted) plus extra for cooking
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter, all-purpose flour, milk, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- Fold in the melted butter gently into the batter.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
