  • sour cream - 100 grams
  • vegetable oil - 30 milliliters
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • egg - 1 large
  • brown sugar - 50 grams
  • ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • chopped walnuts - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a small cake pan (about 6 inches).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the sour cream, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and egg, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. In a separate small bowl, mix the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and chopped walnuts to create the streusel topping.
  6. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle half of the streusel topping over it.
