- Chicken broth - 500 milliliters

- Thyme - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Bay leaf - 1
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a medium pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic, diced carrots, and diced celery to the pot. Sauté for another 5 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add the chicken breast, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
