- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- BBQ sauce - 120 ml
- Water - 1 liter
Steps
- Preheat your smoker to 110°C (225°F).
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, and brown sugar to create a rub.
- Apply the rub evenly over the lamb ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
- Place the lamb ribs in the smoker and cook for about 4 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature of 110°C (225°F).
- During the last hour of smoking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce and add apple cider vinegar to the water pan in the smoker for added moisture.
- Once cooked, remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the smoked lamb ribs with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
