Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80% lean) - 250g
  • Ground chicken - 125g
  • Ground turkey - 125g
  • Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 50g, shredded
  • Fresh spinach - 50g
  • Sliced avocado - 1 small
  • Sugar-free BBQ sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground chicken, ground turkey, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape them into small patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) for chicken and turkey or 70°C (160°F) for beef.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, place shredded cheddar cheese on top of the patties and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
  5. Assemble the sliders using lettuce leaves as the base. Place a beef patty on the bottom leaf, followed by a layer of fresh spinach and a slice of avocado. Drizzle with sugar-free BBQ sauce.
  6. For the chicken and turkey sliders, repeat the assembly process using the respective patties. Serve immediately.
