Ingredients

  • shrimp - 250 grams, peeled and deveined

  • paprika - 1 teaspoon

  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • corn tortillas - 4 small
  • avocado - 1 medium, diced
  • cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • red onion - 1/4, finely chopped
  • cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • lime - 1, juiced

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  3. In another skillet, lightly toast the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are crisp.
  4. Assemble the tostadas by placing the cooked shrimp on each tortilla. Top with diced avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped red onion, and cilantro.
