  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable broth - 1/2 cup

Steps

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and margarine over medium heat until melted.

  6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the mixture seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  7. Remove from heat, stir in fresh parsley, and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
