- sesame seeds - 50 grams
- granulated sugar - 50 grams
- unsalted butter - 50 grams, softened
- egg - 1 large
- vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing well until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sesame seeds.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm apart.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand.
