- Gator meat, diced - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 1 cup
- Cauliflower rice - 1 cup
- Coconut oil, melted - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 large
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 1/4 cup
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 1/2 cup
- Red onion, thinly sliced - 1/4 cup
- Bell pepper, sliced - 1/4 cup
- Fresh basil leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cauliflower rice, melted coconut oil, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
- Spread the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, forming a circular pizza shape about 1/2 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, cook the diced gator meat in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Add the cooked gator meat, red onion, and bell pepper on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the entire pizza.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.
