Ingredients

- Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 150 grams
- Scallops - 100 grams
- Mussels, cleaned - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
- Shallot, finely chopped - 1 medium
- Heavy cream - 150 ml
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 50 grams
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Red pepper flakes - a pinch (optional)
Steps
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallot, and sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and scallops to the skillet and cook until the shrimp are pink and the scallops are opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the mussels and cover the skillet to steam for another 3-4 minutes or until the mussels open.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the creamy seafood sauce.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well and cook for an additional minute.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan if desired.
