Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken breast - 250 grams
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Breadcrumbs - 100 grams
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 100 ml
  • Lemon wedges - 2 pieces
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 small, diced
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Prepare the chicken by slicing the boneless breasts in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the flour with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs until fully combined.
  4. In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each chicken cutlet first in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  7. Carefully place the breaded chicken cutlets in the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Once cooked, remove the schnitzels from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  9. To serve, arrange the schnitzels on a platter with lemon wedges, sliced cucumber, diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
