Ingredients

  • Chicken broth - 500 ml
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Bacon - 50 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, diced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and add diced onion. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the pumpkin puree, chicken broth, ground cumin, and ground nutmeg. Bring to a simmer.
