- Chicken broth - 500 ml
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Bacon - 50 grams
- Onion - 1 small, diced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and add diced onion. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree, chicken broth, ground cumin, and ground nutmeg. Bring to a simmer.
