- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
- Parmesan cheese - 2 tablespoons, grated (optional)
Steps
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the rolled oats and a pinch of salt to the boiling water, then reduce the heat to low. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy.
- While the oats are cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped spinach to the skillet, cooking until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
