Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach - 100 grams

  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1/2 medium, finely chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated (optional)

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add 1 cup of rolled oats to the boiling water and reduce heat to low. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy.
  3. While the oats are cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
