- Maple syrup - 30 grams
- Nutritional yeast - 15 grams
- Chopped fresh herbs (such as rosemary and thyme) - 10 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 60 ml
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, nutritional yeast, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, mix the almond butter, maple syrup, and water until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped fresh herbs until evenly distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm apart.
- Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
