- Grated Parmesan cheese - 50 grams
- Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, olive oil, and egg.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- After rising, punch down the dough and knead in the grated Parmesan, chopped rosemary, and garlic powder until evenly distributed.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into a round roll. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool slightly before serving.
