  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and add the minced garlic to the pan, cooking for an additional 1 minute.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the butter, lemon juice, and chopped parsley.
  7. Pour the lemon butter mixture over the salmon fillets in the skillet.
