Ingredients

  • smoked salmon - 150 grams
  • beef tallow or coconut oil - 50 grams
  • dried cranberries - 30 grams
  • walnuts, chopped - 30 grams
  • sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • garlic powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • onion powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the smoked salmon, chopped walnuts, dried cranberries, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh parsley.
  2. Melt the beef tallow or coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat until fully liquefied.
  3. Pour the melted tallow or oil over the salmon mixture and stir until everything is well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a lined loaf pan, pressing it down firmly to compact it.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set, then slice into bars or squares.
