- salmon fillet - 300 grams
- panko breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- egg - 1 large
- green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- garlic - 1 clove, minced
- lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for cooking)
- hamburger buns - 2
- lettuce leaves - 2
- tomato - 1, sliced
- avocado - 1/2, sliced
Steps
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, finely chop the salmon fillet and combine it with panko breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, minced garlic, lemon juice, dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two burger patties.
- Once the skillet is hot, add the salmon patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or toaster until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a salmon patty, slices of tomato, and avocado. Top with the other half of the bun.
