- Cream cheese - 50 grams, softened
- Granulated sugar - 15 grams
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped walnuts - 30 grams
- Raspberry jam - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large, beaten (for egg wash)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough into a 1/4 inch thick circle.
- Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- In a small bowl, mix the chopped walnuts and ground cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the jam.
- Cut the dough into 8 equal wedges, starting from the center and moving outward.
- Starting from the wide end of each wedge, roll it up towards the point, creating a crescent shape.
- Place the rolled rugelach on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
