  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Beets - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Goat cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh arugula - 50 grams
  • Balsamic glaze - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash the beets and wrap them in aluminum foil with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until tender.
  3. While the beets are roasting, prepare the pizza dough according to package instructions or your recipe.
  4. Once the beets are cool enough to handle, peel and slice them into thin rounds.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  6. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone and brush with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
  7. Spread the minced garlic evenly over the dough.
  8. Arrange the roasted beet slices on top of the dough, followed by crumbled goat cheese.
