- Thyme - 1/2 teaspoon, dried
- Chives - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel the turnip and cut it into small pieces. Rinse them under cold water and then grate or process them until they resemble rice grains.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the riced turnip to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until slightly tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Mix well.
