Ingredients

  • Rye bread - 4 slices
  • Corned beef - 200 grams, sliced
  • Swiss cheese - 100 grams, sliced
  • Sauerkraut - 100 grams, drained
  • Russian dressing - 4 tablespoons
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread 2 tablespoons of Russian dressing each.
  4. Layer corned beef evenly over the dressing on both slices.
  5. Top the corned beef with sauerkraut and then place Swiss cheese on top.
  6. Cover with the remaining slices of rye bread, buttered side facing out.
  7. Place the sandwiches in the heated skillet and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
