- Ground beef (90% lean) - 250 grams
- Ranch seasoning mix - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Shredded lettuce - 1 cup
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Pickles - 4 slices
- Cheddar cheese - 2 slices
- Greek yogurt - 3 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ranch seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the ranch dressing by mixing Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Once the patties are done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading ranch dressing on the bottom bun, adding shredded lettuce, the cheeseburger patty, sliced tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
