Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder - 500 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Apple cider vinegar - 60 ml
  • BBQ sauce - 100 ml
  • Brown sugar - 15 grams
  • Smoked paprika - 5 grams
  • Cumin - 2 grams
  • Salt - 5 grams
  • Black pepper - 2 grams
  • Slider buns - 4 pieces
  • Coleslaw mix - 100 grams
  • Mayonnaise - 30 grams
  • Apple cider vinegar (for slaw) - 15 ml

Steps

  1. In a slow cooker, add the pork shoulder, chopped onion, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
  3. Once the pork is cooked, shred it with two forks and mix it with the BBQ sauce in the slow cooker. Let it cook for an additional 15 minutes on low.
  4. In a bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well to create the slaw.
  5. To assemble the sliders, place a generous portion of pulled pork on the bottom half of each slider bun, top with coleslaw, and cover with the top half of the bun.
