Ingredients
- Beef chuck roast - 500 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Beef broth - 240 ml
- BBQ sauce - 120 ml (kosher certified)
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Slider buns - 4 pieces
- Coleslaw (prepared) - 1 cup
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a large oven-safe pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef chuck roast on all sides until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the beef from the pot and set aside. In the same pot, add the sliced onion and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Return the beef to the pot. Pour in the beef broth, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and sprinkle the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, and salt over the top.
- Cover the pot with a lid and place it in the preheated oven. Cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the beef is fork-tender.
- Once cooked, remove the pot from the oven and let the beef cool slightly. Shred the beef using two forks and mix it with the sauce in the pot.
- To assemble the sliders, place a generous portion of pulled beef on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with a spoonful of coleslaw and place the top half of the bun on.
- Serve the sliders warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
