Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 (small)
  • Red onion - 50 grams, diced
  • Cilantro - 20 grams, chopped
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Sour cream - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cut the pork shoulder into small cubes and toss with the spice mixture until well coated.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the seasoned pork to the skillet and cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork is browned and cooked through.
  5. While the pork is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in another skillet over low heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
  6. Once the pork is done, assemble the tacos by placing a portion of pork on each tortilla.
  7. Top with diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and sliced avocado.
  8. Serve with lime wedges and a dollop of sour cream.
