- Pork shoulder - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4 (small)
- Red onion - 50 grams, diced
- Cilantro - 20 grams, chopped
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Sour cream - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cut the pork shoulder into small cubes and toss with the spice mixture until well coated.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned pork to the skillet and cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork is browned and cooked through.
- While the pork is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in another skillet over low heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Once the pork is done, assemble the tacos by placing a portion of pork on each tortilla.
- Top with diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and sliced avocado.
- Serve with lime wedges and a dollop of sour cream.
